“GENERAL INFORMATION
Mushroom compost is a mixture of high quality and nutritional components that are originally used in the production of edible mushrooms. Mushroom cultivation has a short growth cycle and uses only a small portion of these nutrients contained in the growing medium.
The residual material of our production is sterilized and then degraded in the open air, thus achieving its high nutritional value.
SUGGESTIONS FOR USING OUR PRODUCTS
VEGETABLE AND FLOWER GARDENS:
Before planting, spread a four inches evenly over existing soil to a depth of six inches depth.  Then when the plant is up and growing, spread forty pounds of Setas de Puerto Rico Mushroom Compost per hundred square feet of planting or ten pounds of compost per fifty feet of planting row as a lateral cover.
TREES AND SHRUBS:
For sowing and transplanting, mix one part of SETAS DE PUERTO RICO COMPOST for one part of soil.  Spread directly under and around the trees or shrubs. Increase to two parts compost to one part soil if the soil is very poor.
LAWNS:
For new seeding, spread a layer of three inches deep over the entire area to be seeded.  To improve coverage of existing grass, spread forty pounds per hundred square feet.”
